Earl Gray tea from Quba Caffe is a combination of black tea with the addition of bergamot oil.
Bergamot oil causes the tea to acquire taste and aromas, due to which it is difficult to confuse it with another. Earl Gray is a composition loved by tea connoisseurs.
Black tea is obtained by fermenting green tea. It works stimulatingly due to high content of theine. It inhibits the growth of bacteria that can be found in the digestive system. It stimulates the secretion of digestive juices. An undoubted advantage of black teas is lowering blood pressure - circulation improves and the risk of heart disease decreases.
Brewing black tea for too long causes the release of tannins, which reduces the risk of developing some types of cancer, but the tea loses its taste - it becomes bitter.
The composition was named Earl Gray in honor of Charles Gray, who probably received tea flavored with bergamot orange oil as a diplomatic gift. Legend has it that the reason for the gift was to save a Chinese Mandarin son by one of Gray's men. However, this legend was questioned because of many inaccuracies.
